   First of all, Australian Vaporizers have been AMAZING to deal with. :)
   
   I swapped after another brand faulted and Australian Vaporizers replaced the faulty unit and recommended the Arizer Solo!! I was very impressed by the customer service, Thanks again!! :)
   
   As others have mentioned, the amount of product you use is very economical and yes, you can double vape!
   
   Instead of this though, I re-grind the vaped material and make butter from it and yummy edible treats like "Filthy Phil's classic Brownies" from a great little book that a friend of mine gave me.
   
   I will take up on the screen and eucalyptus/peppermint ideas! I actually use eucalyptus oil and a lil bit of liquid detergent to soak and clean the glass wands. Works a treat!
   
   I also purchased the carry case which has been very handy and like you mentioned 'Smoke free reviewer' it is easily concealed as a can of energy drink.. I love the fact that it can be in plain view! With discretion of course :)
   
   All in all fabulous little unit, all that I've shown it to have been impressed.

   forget any doubts you may have about buying the Solo, this thing is really well made, easy to use and works exceptionally well. i could not believe how much vapour i achieved the first time i tried it and the taste is something else.... i will never go back to smoking again...it does the same job if not better because you don't feel as though you've had you mouth around a cars exhaust pipe... and it uses less material!
   
   there are some reviews that say the glass piece is loose or tight fitting, this is nonsense...maybe earlier models had this problem i don't know? but this one does not, it's merely held in by an o-ring which can be a little snug at first but after that its fine, you do not need to hold it in place and it will not break or fall out, just read the instructions that come with it before you use it.
   
   thanks to the good advice from other reviews on this site, i also purchased the case and some screens which was a good investment, some spare glass pieces would also be a good idea too, not that they are flimsy or likely to break or anything, its just i know how clumsy i am after using it...
   
   if you intend on using it at home with guests maybe look at buying the additional AC adaptor as others have advised, it lets you use it while charging as the one that comes with it does not. no big deal for me though as it charges in an hour or two and i can wait, plus i don't share, so buy your own....trust me you wont be disappointed.
   
   it may seem a little expensive at first, but what's a set of lungs worth huh? and because it's more efficient your saving money on material, so the initial outlay is nothing really...and above all i'd buy it just for the taste, did i mention how good it tastes, wow, i mean WOW!
   
   it's very portable and easy to conceal, it actually looks like someone drinking through a straw from one of those energy drink cans from a distance. and because there's no smoke there's virtually no smell as well, as long as you keep it clean.
   
   tips on use...i've found that setting 5 works best, long slow draws produce the best vapour and less material works better than more, but make sure it's dry. it may seem a little hard to draw through at first, but i think this is a design feature which is why it works so well, after a couple of goes you'll get use to it. Be careful when cleaning glass pieces they are glass after all and would be easy to break if you mistreat them. buy some screens to avoid the fine stuff going in your mouth, or don't chop up your material so fine.
   
   a big thanks to australian vaporisers, they were great to deal with and i received my order in two days, and i live interstate...

   Bought this Vape because my MFLB trench tore after only a few months (cleaning it too hard, my fault) and because 2 of my friends bought the same Arizer unit and were very pleased with it.
   
   To me it felt and looked smaller than the pictures and videos I watched (about 2/3 the height of a standard red bull can but wider/thicker) which was great for me as I thought, although portable it would turn out to be a bit bulkier so I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent quality, ease of use and minimal, fast cleaning makes this a 5 star review for me. Much easier to use (even for beginners) and clean than my first Vape purchase, the MFLB (not hating just a comparison).
   
   Hits are smooth, deceptively large and full of flavour. I would invest in the carry case to make this unit totally portable as when purchasing you only receive it, the mouth pieces and the charger unit in the somewhat tacky cardboard box it's delivered in.
   
   TIP: I would absolutely invest in the mesh screens for the mouth pieces. I've heard a few people say that they have to draw with a lot more force than they are used to and that means plant matter travels up the glass stem into their mouths which is not pleasant. The mesh screens have completely remedied this for me so it's not an issue.
   
   Follow the instructions and you'll have no problems, I let my unit charge fully (about 2 hours I felt) then ran it for 4-5 full 12 minute cycles before charging it again and using it. After this both glass pieces (straight and angled) fit perfectly with no looseness or rattling on my model (M-107)
   
   I'm very happy with my purchase, delivery time was just a touch under 2 business days with no problems and if anyone asks about my Arizer Solo I'll tell them to get on board. (Posted on 22/03/13)

    I just received my new M107 Solo from AV, a replacement for my original model Solo, which I've used solidly for 18 months. I even stopped using my extreme Q, I love the Solo so much!
    
    The only reasons for replacement were to buy me some time to source and replace the battery and also to get some of the little improvements that have appeared since my 1st gen model. Speaking of which, I'm once again REALLY impressed with the build quality. The brushed aluminium finish, the new stainless steel bowl and new 4-hole stems - even the packaging shows great attention to detail.
    
    So an easy 5/5 for me. Oh and big thanks to AV for once again exceeding expectations with postage time! It arrived the next day here in Melbs. (Posted on 23/11/12)

    i'll let you know before you crack it after trying to get the glass piece in.
    Do what the instructions say, the device does need to heat up after then you can attempt to get the glass fittings in.
    Other then that this thing is by far the best vap on market i've come across that is totally portable. Perfect for almost any occasion. Never had issue with running out of battery also if that's a concern for ya.
    Overall if by some strange notion it broke i'd buy another straight away. Don't need to bother with a lighter like the genie and that other butane gas based vap this is pure heating lock stock and go!

    Well after 12 months of owning the solo and 18 of the Q I an say that Arizer dont disappoint with the quality of their vapes.
    
    I am still as happy with my purchase of the solo today as I was when I ordered, I cant speak highly enough of the solo as a great portable.
    
    The solo stems seem a little strange at first but one handed operation is not an issue I have encountered.
    They do fit loosely by design but unless you want to vape upside down I dont see any way it would fall out.
    
    Arizer make great vapes, the solo is a great portable and the benchmark for other portables to aspire to/be measured against.
    The quality of the solo and Q are matched by the great customer service of Australian Vaporizers who ensured prompt delivery and an enjoyable shopping experience.

    I've been smoking daily for 13 years now and really started to feel the effects on my lungs, which is why I have ended up vaporising. I couldn't recommend it more to any smokers out there.
    
    I did a lot of research and decided on the arizer solo (was close to getting the iolite but didn't dig the idea of butane). It was the adjustable temperature that really sold me and after using it for the last 6 months or so, I can't imagine not having the adjustable temp feature - you really can vary the effects of the herb.
    
    It's solid, well built, looks great and inconspicuous (without the tube, which gets a brown build up on it after a while). I have experienced the same as many others with the loose fitting tube, but can still hold it with one hand and don't really see it as that much of a problem - just a bit of a drag.
    
    I needed to get mesh which had to be trimmed to fit the mouthpiece, as I'm in the habit of chopping up reasonably finely and some of it was getting in my mouth. The mesh clogs up after a while and needs to be replaced, but isn't too much of a problem.
    
    Depending on the temp setting you can get some serious vape clouds from this thing. I haven't tried any other vapes to compare it too, but seriously it almost resembles smoke it's that thick.
    
    As far the effects go - let's just say that as a heavy smoker for years, I am very satisfied with the feeling it produces. I've been able to completely cut out tobacco which is what kept me so hooked and it's really alleviating my dependence. Upon trying my old ways of smoking recently just to see what it was like, I was disgusted with how bad I felt from smoking again. It really feels dirty, that is to say that the arizer solo feels really clean and tastes much much better.
    
    After some experimenting, I use it on temp setting 5 and can get 4 or 5 good sessions before the battery runs out. The power adapter would solve that though obviously, and I also recommend getting the carry bag.
    
    I highly recommend vaping to any smokers out there and the arizer solo is an amazing, convenient, silent and fun way to do it. I wish they were around 13 years ago when I started smoking!!! (Posted on 19/07/12)

    Ive had my Solo for about 5 or 6 months now and all I can say is that I love this thing.
    
    The build quality is extremely good, its nice and solid in your hand and its just got an expensive high quality feel about it. The adjustable temperature is a great feature as it allows you to get the most out of your herbs. I got the carry case with it which makes it portable if your going to a party or a friends house etc.
    
    The battery is more than enough for my light needs, its only run flat once and that was at a gathering where 4 people where using it.
    
    Contrary to a few other people who have reviewed, my glass mouthpiece's fit on tightly and dont move around much at all. I also have no problem with the airflow, just take nice deep slow breaths.
    
    Overall i would highly recommend this vape to anyone looking for a high quality portable vape that produces big satisfying clouds of vapor quickly and reliably. two thumbs up!

    The Arizer Solo has a glass tube that doesn't fit snuggly into the unit. This means that outside cold air gets drawn into the heated herb chamber. I didn't experience any of the valuable vapour at all. The unit is difficult to manage as the glass tube wobbles about alot, so you need two hands. One to hold the unit and one to keep the tube in place. In comparison to the iolite, the wispr and the magic flight, I would have to say the Arizer Solo was the least effective. My recomendation for a portable vaporiser is the Wispr. (Posted on 24/05/12)

    Great device, right size. I am having trouble with the airflow though - seems very restricted and makes for hard work. Doesn't sound like anyone else is having this problem though. Do I have a faulty device or is there something I missed?

    As others have commented, this is a solid, high quality and well finished portable vaporiser. I own both the iolite and wispr and this unit pulls their pants down. You could throw it through at a wall and safely just pick it up and use it. You wouldnt, as thatd be stupid, but you could!.....
    
    Basically an electronic vaporizer that, once you get over your vape learning curve, is definately the one to spend your dollars on. Produces nice vape clouds and with adjustable temperature, you really can satisfy your mood.
    
    You do need a the carry bag and filters. The filters I received needed to be cut to size.
    
    Only down sides to this unit are that the glass mouth piece needs to be held in and to the ceramic bowl..its loose and spins round otherwise, which couldve been better designed and you have to buy another power adapter to use when the battery goes flat or wait and charge it..pretty poor in 2011/12.
    
    Still gets the top mark though!

    This is the best purchase I have ever made in my life. Spent ages researching prior to purchasing 2 weeks ago. I am a very heavy smoker and have a persistent really bad cough. In an effort to improve my health I purchased one from my tax return. Within a week after receiving my cough is nearly non existent. I have never used one before (and don't know anyone else who has) and must admit though some of the reviews looked too good to be true (but after using they are true). I HAVE RECOMMENDED VAPING TO EVERY SMOKER I KNOW - TRY IT YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE OLD WAYS.
    
    I will NEVER be able to smoke using the old methods again - this is just too good. Went flat one day and tried to have the old way - couldn't even stomach it - tastes burnt and like crap. For someone who smokes as much as me to say can't go back is amazing (have smoked for over 20 years and have NEVER said that before).
    
    The only problem I have found is it goes flat (but am very heavy smoker and for most normal users would be fine). Am getting the charger you can use while charging today which will eliminate that problem.
    
    I feel better, delivered really quickly, parts & replacements available (and can get overnight if needed), unit is great quality, small, discreet, easy to use, uses less herb & GREAT RESULTS. More that worth the cost for health, herb savings and the taste (buy one - use for a day - and try to use your old method - I doubt you will be able to go back either). Vapourizing is the only way to go.

    Nice industrial design - shape, weight, compact size, grip, and operation. The metal construction, ceramic chamber and easy temp control is where all the pricey quality is. Feels like you're holding a precision instrument. It can even "idle" at around 50*C, kind of like standby.
    
    Setting number 4 is apparently around 200*C - the temperature that benzene starts to be released at, so I prefer using 3 mostly which is 195*C. You might want to research yourself though!
    
    It's really good that there's no surfaces that get too hot. The top gets warm that's all. It seems completely safe. Mine lasts a few nights before recharging, but I don't "vape" much anyway. I wouldn't mind having the optional charger all the same.. but an extra $40 or so, can't afford it, I've spent enough!
    
    I got the carry bag (glad I did), and I got screens. Not sure about the screens. Why is there no screen built in? The ones I got didn't seem to fit in glass vessel. Not sure where they go? They reduce air flow anyway. I think it's better not to use screens and just draw slowly and not chop up so finely. I think that's how its meant to be used rather than with screens.
    
    Still getting used to it, but at this stage I won't be smoking again if I can help it. Vaporizers save lives! (Posted on 14/11/11)

    Works wonderfully - fast and efficient. Feels strong, looks great and is very well finished. The adjustable temperature is the main reason that I chose this over the WISPR and it is good to be able to crank up the temp to get the last residues.
    
    The glass mouthpiece is great for a pure taste but it is awkward to use - it fits loosely, and the fact that the unit is supplied with a spare suggests that the manufacturer expected that breakages were likely. I fumbled with mine while using the unit and dropped it - cleaning up tiny shards of glass is not much fun - but maybe I'm just clumsy! I don't know how this could be better designed - I just get the feeling that there must be a better way to fix the mouthpiece.

    Pros - It works. I picked this vape on the basis that it would provide the nearest experience to a handrolled 'cigarette', and it does not disappoint. Very solid build, all metal finish, feels good in the hand, no taste or smell (of its own), very easy and intuitive to use, portable - you can use it in bed, with no fear of causing a fire or spilling anything.
    Cons - limited number of uses (about 8) without recharging and can't be used while charging, so OK for 1 or 2 people but a party would drain it. Definitely needs screens (and Aus Vaporisers kindly included a few with mine). I worry about breaking the glass wand, it is made to fit and would have to get a replacement from the manufacturer. Expensive, but add the fifth value star if it lasts 5 years, and the switches and plug seem high enough quality that it might well do so. (Posted on 5/09/11)

    This vape is really good. I'm definitely glad I bought it, I was hesitant on spending so much money for just a vaporizer but the thing is worth every cent.
    
    The solo looks and feels great, has a solid feel to it. The vapor is very good. I wanted something to have for when I go surfing at the beach and this thing performs perfectly. It actually looks like your drinking from a cup or something.
    
    The only fault of this thing is the glass wand - the hole's are just big enough so if your herbs are ground too well, as you inhale sometimes herbs can into your mouth, so I would recommend getting some screens with it. (Posted on 16/06/11)

    Been using for a couple of days now since we got this thing as a sample from IGS and it is the best portable vaporizer I've used (tryed IOlite, vapeorsmoke, and magic flight and vapir 2.0). It's very simple, no moving parts just the vape and the glass wand, heats up in 2 minutes, all glass wand - no metal screen, tastes amazing and gives a thick vapor hit with no burning. Rechargable battery vapes about 15 or so bowls before having to recharge so should last a day or so if vapeing alone. (Posted on 7/06/11)
