How To Use Your VapePoints
If you’re a customer who uses your own account to shop our website, you are probably aware of our VapePoints system, which lets you acquire points to use towards discounts on future purchases. We designed this system to give something back to our loyal customers for their continued service. Customers often ask us how to how to use their VapePoints, or rather how to get the most out of this system. So, here it is, everything you need to know about VapePoints, how they work, and how to get the most out of yours!
What are VapePoints?
VapePoints is a system we designed that awards points for shopping and interacting with Australian Vaporizers. You earn VapePoints when you create an account on our store, make a purchase, review a product or subscribe to our newsletter. When you have enough of them, these VapePoints can be put towards a discount on future purchases. VapePoints are awarded on the following basis:
- Earn 3 VapePoints for every dollar spent.
- Earn 50 VapePoints for creating an account online.
- Earn 250 VapePoints for reviewing a product (once moderated – you must have purchased from us).
- Earn 100 VapePoints for signing up to our newsletter
100 VapePoints = $1.00 to spend on products on our store.
The Rules of VapePoints:
There are some rules and regulations that help keep our VapePoints system fair and running smoothly. If you want to start earning and using VapePoints, it helps to be aware of the terms and conditions.
- VapePoints can only be awarded to registered Australian Vaporizers members
- Members must be over 18 years of age and have a valid email address
- VapePoints can only be used on your own purchases and are not redeemable for cash
- VapePoints earned on returned or cancelled orders are deducted from your account
- VapePoints have to be validated by us before they are available in your account
- You cannot use VapePoints for the same purchase in which you acquire them
- Unfortunately, VapePoints cannot be used on shipping costs
How Do I See How Many VapePoints I Have?
Once they have been validated, the VapePoints you have acquired will be displayed in your account. To check how many VapePoints you have, first you will have to log into your Australian Vaporizers member account. Go to the “Account” button in the top right hand corner of the homepage and select “log in” from the drop down list.
Once you have logged in, you will be able to see your account dashboard, where the number of points in your account will be displayed, as well as how many points are pending and how many are currently on hold. You can also go to the “My Points and Rewards” tab on the left hand side of the page to see a detailed breakdown of all the points you have accrued and for which activities (e.g. leaving a review) they were awarded for.
How Do I Redeem My VapePoints?
Ready to use some VapePoints on your next purchase? It’s very simple to use your VapePoints to receive a discount on an item you want to buy. First, just add the item(s) you want to buy to your shopping cart. Then, you will need to view your shopping cart by clicking the “Cart” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Below the items in your shopping cart, there should be a slider that allows you to add VapePoints to your purchase. Simply slide this bar to select the number of VapePoints you wish to use.
The VapePoints you have selected should show up as a discount in the price summary at the bottom of the page. This summary will also show you how many VapePoints you will earn for this purchase. These points cannot be redeemed in the same transaction, but will show up in your user account to be used at a later date.
**Please note that only the product price is deductible with VapePoints and you may still have to pay for tax. We may need to make changes or cancel our VapePoints program and we reserve the right to do so at any time.
