   I've been using my Genie constantly for about a month now and wow, I'm impressed. No tar build up in the pipe at all therefore no nasty tar in lungs(well must be very minimal). I usually smoke a pipe and have to clean the dirty slimy tar every 2grams. I've probably smoked about 10grams though my genie and still no sign of tar...and believe you me it works. 1 problem is that you need a pretty big constant flame, so gas runs out fast in your lighter but hey, top the lighter up and away u go.
   Tried quite a few vaporizers now and they're all great but I was worried about any electric or butane vaporizer dying on u like my mates volcano. after 2 years it stopped working, 300$ down the drain. The Genie will never die on u(also y I choose it over the magic flute, what if it stops working?) (Posted on 16/11/11)

   It took me a little while to get used to this thing but after you get the technique down it works really well. It's easy to economise your herbal blend as well, you can usually get about 6-7 hits out of a single bowl. I found that after 2-3 hits it's a good idea to open it up and stir up a little so everything gets used up at a relatively even rate as it generally uses the herbs in the middle faster. Be careful not to burn the filter as it doesn't work so well after that, clean it somewhat regularly and replace the screens to keep it working well. My friends love the way it looks as well but I've yet to be able to teach them to use it very efficiently! (Posted on 26/10/11)

   This was great. Still is, I suppose. Simple, easy and surprisingly effective. I was very impressed. Also, much less smoky than you'd expect..
   
   Only downside is that the matches I used left a little soot on the oak-y finish. no bother, really.

    I bought the VaporGenie looking for a Vape that would be portable, durable, fast and effective and this is it.
    
    I don't have one bad thing to say about it though word of advise for your first few times. it takes some getting used to. Burnt herb does not taste not smell good but once you have the hang of it you will never leave it behind.

    I bought my VG from this site about a month or so ago and I love it.
    
    Don't understand the (one) negative review here as I have found it extremely easy to vape using the VG. It is obviously an issue with the user themselves rather than the product, which is honestly very good, especially for the relatively low cost and portability etc.
    
    I have used my VG about 5-6 times, vaped with no difficulty each and every time and have not come close to combusting a single time (using a regular bic cigarette lighter, if that's relevant). I did read the directions and watch video demos etc. on the internet days before I attempted to use it so maybe that has something to do with it. I imagine it might be hard to do outdoors when it's windy, but I've been using it in my lounge room (something I'd never even consider when smoking...) with great results, and little smell which fades very quickly and doesn't even smell like smoke... Almost feels too good to be true!
    
    I get pretty big vapor hits without any hassle and it gets me to the level I want to be at without using very much herb. Infinitely more pleasant than other ways (or any other smoking implement), though I did somewhat miss the typical effects of smoking the first couple of times (but the euphoric 'sensation' from vaping is far greater than I would get from smoking, so it's more than a fair tradeoff)
    
    I have since bought the Magic Flight Launch Box as well but strangely I actually prefer the VG even though it's about half the MFLB price. The bad reviewer's claim that they are "literally 100 times better" is untrue, needless to say. I think most people would prefer the MFLB to the VG, but they're both great portable vaporizers in their own right (I'll reiterate, I own both and prefer the sensation I get from the VG, but the MFLB is also an amazing product/invention so not taking anything away from it) (Posted on 8/10/11)

    This little vaporizer is way better than any electrical vaporizer i've used. So easy to use no waiting or anything, just when the ceramic filter goes black after use don't worry it's just soot from the gas in the lighters. Only problem it does get a bit hot so you gotta watch you don't burn yourself when you refill. (Posted on 13/07/11)

    a fabulous product that does what it says. doesnt take long to figure out the best distance and duration of flame application to get best results. as a guideline 5-10 seconds of flame applied 2 or 3 seperate times is enough. there is some residual active compounds in the roasted contents so roll a phat one and pass it to the left ppl but dont draw too deep cos its a bit harsh.
    PS: you will need to clean or replace the screen regularly. screens can be purchased at tobacconists. for cleaning i would recommend isopropyl alcohol, try bunnings or hardware stores, in a pinch rubbing alcohol will suffice or even soapy water but you will have to get an old toothbrush to scrub it clean.
