The pink lotus, otherwise known as the Sacred Lotus, has been cultivated in Eastern Asia for over 3,000 years. It is said to have a variety of medicinal uses, namely the stimulation of libido and increased motivation. It has also been studied for use as a diuretic and astringent, as well as for treatment of diarrhea, insomnia, cardiovascular disease an a wide variety of conditions. Pink lotus is also believed to have antioxidant properties and is widely used in China as an ingredient in antioxidant teas, as well as in Chinese herbal formulations for treatment of cancer, liver disease and tissue inflammation.

Pink Lotus leaf can be used as a smoking herb alone or as part of a blend. To prepare as a tea, use 2-4 teaspoons per serve, brew for 5 minutes and strain.
